About Us
WSG was formed in the early 80’s by Paul Hope-Darby. After quitting his career as a saturation diver and later as a project manager involved in the pioneering heavy oilfield construction projects in the North Sea, France, Africa and the Middle East, he began to explore the niche market of specialised internal pipe inspection and testing, using remotely controlled robotic vehicles.
Repair & Re-lining
We perform precision pumped concrete repairs underwater, which include Tremie-shutter and fabric-formwork shuttering techniques. We also repair and rebuild underwater chambers, stabilise damage tunnel crowns and inverts, lay concrete reinforcing mattresses above vulnerable structures for stabilisation & protection. We also design and install steel circumferential segmented seals inside large diameter solling tunnels to eliminate sand ingress and design and install pipe stabilisation rings to fill displaced tunnel joints and to provide permanent stabilisation & structural integrity.
